...20% art and 80% promotion, continued

i have 3 shows going, that's almost 50 pieces of art out and about. good. however, what about the promotion for those 50 pieces? not much going on there....

a friend on facebook posted an article on art promotion and it lists 7 things to do so potential buyers can find your art. number one: one click option to buy from your website...ahhh,commerce? i have an imagekind account with art (marginally current) and an etsy account (marginally current), but neither is really connected to my website enough for patrons to purchase directly. ...until now. tweaking and moving, linking and rewriting...

the mixed media canvases are very different than the printed images alone. i thought i did a good job in documenting them, well- think again. i am not a good book keeper or record keeper...scrambling to pull ends together...
taking about scrambling...tomorrow is art walk, do i know where my business cards are?
