I find the chinese way of giving years a certain flavor "characteristics" , is generally in tune with (our observed) reality.
We have been in the year of a tiger. Relax next year you'll be able to heal your wounds. The year of the Cat/Rabbit is easy going and mundane. ...but it hasn't started yet!
I am born in the year of the tiger.
Just another month and the year of the cat begins. My plans for the next 12 years need to be in order.
